OUR CONCEPT
THE HOCHSITZ IS 100 %
SUSTAINABLE
Thanks to a considered combination of sustainable building materials, cross-laminated timber (CLT) boards (80%), steel columns (5%) and insulated glass (15%), our houses have a minimal impact on the environment.
GREAT INSULATION
These same building materials also help us to achieve top insulation levels, equivalent to the European Passive House standards,
which results in very low energy demands for heating/air conditioning as well as high level sound proofing.
SUSTAINABLE INTERIOR DESIGN MATERIALS = ZERO WASTE
The interior design materials also reflect the concept of sustainability.
The basic materials include ancient oak combined with traditional Loden fabric, steel and glass. These will be reused at future events.
FLEXIBLE, TEMPORARY AND MODULAR
The entire structure is developed in such a way that it can be assembled and disassembled up to 30 times anywhere in the world.
Each time we leave the surface below the building is left unharmed thanks to the specially designed substructure, which also compensates for uneven ground and can be set up on any type of surface (e.g. grass, concrete, asphalt or sand).
And at the end of its journey around the world, the structure will become a permanent installation.
